Now if only they put subligars into that post...I bet he would be at SE headquarters the next day.Just in case you hadn't seen this yet Rein, not sure if you'd be interested xD

I would love to but I can't move to Japan alone and not easy to move my kids/wife to Japan ><
I would really loved this though... orz
If your remotely interested I'd shoot SE a resume, they may have a relocation assistance program.
Obviously if moving your familly was within reason beyond just logistic of moving. I know what it's like to make that kind of decision for your familly. Too bad they wont just pay you to do it remotely!

C'mon Reinheart Yoshi gave you his approval!![]()
First person I thought of was Reinheart.
We all have family and friend would not want to leave that either. Possible a good paying job aswell
I can't believe they're making people live/move to Japan. That's hard (I spent two months in Japan and I wanted to shoot myself after 2 weeks... i got better but still I had the hope of going home if I wanted to die after getting on the wrong train AGAIN.)
But in this day and age where high speed net is the norm, what has happened to telecommuting? I work from home and only come into the office twice a year for training. Why not SE?
...You do know this is a common business practice, right? I'd definitely love to move back to Japan since localization can actually be a pretty fun job to do. Telecommuting isn't the same thing. You can't telecommute to a fan festival for example.

Because that's how translation teams work. They have to work together and on the spot, that's just how this profession looks.
Telecommuting is just like being there. You have a face, you have a voice and you're present in electronic form. Instant messaging also works.
Only thing that would be interesting would be the weird hours if someone were to stay in the states.
