I would like to know if they plan to have a mix of both.

Start a party with 4 linkshell members or friends and use the content finder to fill out the rest of the players. (I really hope so)

Pretty sure you would be able to do something like this, current player recruitment works same way so should be possible.
I invite 2-3 of my friends from LS then remaining spots I just put recruit for w/e jobs/class we need and it fills up right away.

It's not a bad system but it's really obtuse (Purpose: none = anything) and needs better options and junk.

Yeah the purpose section does need better options, for most of the JP's they just leave it to none - which although you have to end up clicking every recruit to find out what the recruit is for.

problem with recruit feature in current game - you have to be on a lv50 (that recruits level) to view the recruit details. Say you're crafting on lv20-30ish class and there is shout for Raids you can't just quick crafting > search recruit and join. You actually have to switch to that class with 50 to join first. System can't figure out what class/jobs you have at 50 for some odd reason when it should be doing it automatically.

When you are searching for party recruiting and choose no purpose like I mentioned above there is no comment section on the search result so you have to click every one of them to figure out what it's for. Would be nice if they at least made it possible to view 1 line comment.

But adding more purpose and making it more specific would help the feature more imo.

I would just appreciate it if more people would set the Purpose to "Quests" > "A Feast of Fools" or "Ifrit Bleeds, we can kill it" or the instance raid > name. I can't copy+paste from the search information into Google Translate either.

NPC“ロウェナ”で交換する際の交換レートを、パッチ1.22にて調整する ことで対応予定とお知らせしましたが、実装に向け調整を行う中で、バランスなどを考慮した結果、クポの実のお守りは「10個」に変更いたしましすが、焔神 のトーテム像は現状のまま「10個」から変更しないことになりました。

I mean I understand why, but still meh. Ifrit weapons are in no way outdated and still mostly used over Moogle weapons.

Why would they announce something like that and take it back, man is SE getting worse lately or what ?

I can only hope they a second announcement to say they have increased the nut/totem drops in 1.22.

あれ？これって読み間違えてなければレベリングでもワールドを越えてＰＴ作れるってことなんですけど・・・　てっきりワールドを越えるのはレイドダンジョンだけだと思ったんですが。
If you read it wrong it says you can party cross worlds, I thought for cross worlds was for only Raid Dungeons.

レイドダンジョンなどのインスタンスだけでなく、パブリックエリアの一部のコンテンツについてもワールドを超えてパーティを組めるよう設計・検討 を進めています。また、コンテンツファインダーは目的からPTを組むことを前提にしていますので、そのコンテンツにおいてレベル上げを行いたいなどの目的 からもPTを組めるようになる予定です。
