    YoshiP Response - 03/26/12 Additional info on instancing

    Some more from YoshiP regarding instancing since some people asked why not just increase the max instances available.

    安定度を見てから、最終判断を行う予定です。
    We are still looking into increasing the number of instances so after the instance bug fix and checking on how congested the instance will be after the server merge. We are planning to make the final decision by looking at the stability.

    各ワールドの負荷については、1.0リリース時の方が現状より高負荷であり、
    その際のワールドログと比較しても、現状発生しているダウンやインスタンスの占有問題は、
    単純な負荷によるものではなく、新規実装したコンテンツのいずれかが、
    ゾーン移動の際に、サーバメモリを破壊していると推測しています。
    For each worlds server load the current version is much lighter then when the game was in it's 1.0 release. When comparing the world logs the server down and instance problems arising right now isn't something simple as server load but we are assuming it's where one of the new contents is destroying the server memory upon zone change.

    これらを解決し、安定度を回復させることをまず優先させて頂いていますので、
    もう少々お待ち頂けると助かります。
    We are working to get these resolved and it is our priority to make it more stable so would appreciate if you can please wait a little more

    This one is about how potion/medicine timers are all shared and JP thread asking to separate them into categories.

    Current medicine item changes were done to match current battle balance.
    Reuse timers like you suggested is being looked at for 2.0 as buffing type and healing type but with current version we have no plans to implement this.


    ですが、今後も必要に応じて調整していきますので、この薬品アイテムのこういう部分を変更して欲しいといった要望がありましたらフィードバックをお寄せください。

    Not posting this one to OP since it's less important.

    http://goo.gl/eVrPblical started a thread saying the JP Lodestone has page for Class/Job but other languages don't and Triairy is saying they update the site with new pages as it's ready on the translation. So it should be up once it's ready, don't think it's gonna take that long imo.

    http://goo.gl/B2QZm JP side has a thread saying after every update they have problems with getting into the new Instance Raids and Triairy just linking to YoshiP's thread post about the instancing.

    This one might lead to some issues... but Fukken made a thread asking to be able to target certain mobs by using macro with mobs name in it to target.

    With target macro is it possible to target a mob by name?

    /targetenemyname(/tename) <名前name>

    example
    /tename <enemy nameミュルミドン・ガード>

    実行する事で、ターゲット可能範囲内に指定ネームのMobが存在すればカーソルが合わさる仕組みです。
    By executing above if the target mob is within range it will automatically focus on that target.

    easy button for NM targeting/pulling??
    Yea more like for Guard ants or Moogles, they should limit to dungeon only IMO.

    Maybe you should make a suggestion to make it dungeon only.
