    Rep Response - 02/17/12 Pop up help for status & buff/debuff icon Q/A

    Busy work day only got 8 minutes to do today (before office manager kicks me out to close shop lol) translation so gonna do quick ones

    This one is regarding pop up help, how status effect pop up help's on/off is determined by the main menu help on/off rather than action pallet on/off. Triairy says if many players demand this to be changed to where the status help on/off is controlled via action pallet on/off the devs will look into it.

    Lencon mentions how some icons for buff/debuffs look alike and would like better icons, for this one Triairy says at current they can't do that but what they can do is like add colors red for debuff, blue for buff to make it stand out a bit more. This one the devs will also look into it if the players demand is large.

    今のところ、現行運営中にアイコンのデザインの変更を行う予定はありません。
    ただ、ステータスアイコンについては強化/弱体の違いをわかりやすくするために、
    • 強化=青系
    • 弱体=赤系

    というようにアイコンの色味を調整することは可能です。
    こちらも皆さんからの声が大きいようであれば、実装を検討します。

    Rep Response - 02/17/12 In 2.0 crafting you can see how many times you can craft...

    This thread talks about how before you can see how many material items you had in your inventory to decide how much you craft if you wanted to, with patches this was removed and they want the feature back.

    Triairy responds saying this used to show previous patch but has been removed, with current they don't have any plans to show the remaining materials you have. However in 2.0 when selecting a craft they want to display how many time you can craft depending on how many items you have in your inventory. Doesn't mention anything about being able to show the actual item quantity you have, just says how many times you can craft.

    Some JP players didn't like it so if you look at the post after it got some likes since they mentioned to dev in charge to actually play the game and they will know what the players want. Not the amount you can craft, anyone can do the actual simple math to figure out how many times they can craft if devs made it where you can see amount of materials you have left in inventory.

    It's pretty absurb they don't want to see how many times you can craft an item, thats standard in most MMO's and would be much better than seeing items prior to crafting.

    This one isn't really important so not adding to the OP, thread is about fixing haste hand god send for crafters and Triairy just saying this was mentioned already that it is planned to be modified in 1.22 and links to that post that mentions that. Pretty sure I translated that one alread.

    Only problem with Lore related stuff for me is when translating some naming of locatoin/region/NPC/etc. might be named differently depending on the US or NA so the info might confuse people so I haven't done much on those, normally NA side gets translation for those lore related stuff same day so I don't do those much unless someone asks and I'll try translating.

    はい、そのように表示されます。
    さらに、製作時にNQ/HQの素材数の比率を設定できるようになる予定です。
    これにより、素材に全てHQまたはNQを使用するという設定も可能になります。

    Nothing too exciting but the last


    1st is about how the job equipment can only be worn while on the job and how job switching works. Pretty much the same requirements as of now. You must be in passive mode and you can't be engaged or be attacked by a monster.

    2nd is about the request repair feature will turn off automatically when you're out of gil, dark matter, or when all requested gear is fully repaired.

    3rd seems they will separate materia by class of HQ and NQ quality...(stackable materia?)
