Sounds like that could result in a nightmare in terms of number of items and their variants. Different levels of quality, by materia, by color...yikes. Interesting to see how they handle that and how the community responds, particularly regarding the buying and selling of all these possible variants.

One of the JP players post was pretty nice was like having it in category like say for dodoskin subligar
When you click on the item they show sub category with regular and any stat up version then you click on that to see what color variations available; this way it wont clutter up the market search with every color, stat up versions.

I have a feeling that perhaps they'll implement a filter function to allow one to condense the search to what they'd like to find.
-Color(Green, Red, Blue, etc)
-Type(Power, Wisdom etc.)
So basically say you want Green color, Power.
You select hand armor it'll show only the gloves that are green with the Power augment on them. If you don't see any of your color then you can just remove the color filter and obtain any "Power" and just dye it yourself lol. The concept in the quote, while it may work as long as armor only has 2-4 variations, but as the variations become greater which one would think is the main objective behind being able to customize your armor I would imagine that being able to filter to your liking would work better then sub menus for each piece of armor.



I don't see how it's slow and painful when it gets instantly completed with no chance of failure...
It would probably take a lot of recoding to make it work like materia and this works just fine until then.
Sounds like a great change to me!
Sucked how dying could render gear less HQ than before. Or not carry over materia because it was an entirely new synth.
These changes are welcomed!



Alright Rein, how are the Japanese reacting to these Class overhauls? I gotta know.
