Auto Decline feature

How often do you get invited to stuff that you deem it necessary to have an entire feature dedicated to declining invites? I can't imagine someone is trying to invite you to a linkshell and after you decline they keep trying for the next hour slowly driving you insane... you decline them once and then you go on with your business until the next awful person tries to reach out and be friendly with you.

For that matter why not just accept? Getting invited to a party when you want to play alone is one thing... but linkshell and free company invites? Even if you're a solo player do you realize the benefits you're missing out on by being THAT antisocial? Beyond just the boosts a FC can provide through actions you're limiting yourself from joining in on group activities outside of purely DF'd content.

Yeah I was the same way too. I gave up and joined a large FC. with so much members I should hopefully have a degree of anonymity and the fc actions did benefit me.

im not limiting myself by any means people dont join fc's for a specific reason my point is the spam is awful you clearly don't understand how bad it is when you have to decline a fc or ls invite once ever few mins even more so with fc spam ive declined over 40 invites today alone if thats any indication on how bad it is im not the only person that has to deal with this people have there own play styles and dont like big groups they like smaller more tight nit groups now as for you saying im gimping myself the only thing im losing on is the fc buffs which i dont use i play 1 job and thats it so again not needed for me and i have no issues clearing content with people i know so your point to me only makes sense in one aspect on what i miss out on

I completely agree with this. I've only been playing just over a week but I've been sent blind FC invites quite a number of times. It's annoying.

Not only is it rude and annoying, but it makes the FC look pitifully desperate for members. I've yet to see a mass-recruiting guild in any game be anything but a glorified chatroom - and even then, they pick up so many undesirable people that chats become drama bombs or become offensive quickly.

Report them. There was a thread on this a few months ago and invite spams are considered harassment I guess.

Lets sit and think about this for a moment on how it can negatively affect the player base.The biggest issue is the fact you can be spammed until you block someone and even then it can happen again over and over again with other players. the block feature is only a solution until you cap 200 blacklisted people even then it will still happen over and over again. My point is that this will never stop until you add the auto decline feature.
