You have to leave at least one character visible, but it does let you hide your alts (or use an alt and hide your main).

Yes... SE is such a newbie when it comes to forums.

With the character name, world, and lodestone information, I can stalk practically anyone not on an alt. Sad...SE is going to get sued if it's not careful.

Good one SE! Next time I find a victim who's close to me, and lives alone, all I need to do is map his play schedule and act accordingly.

I see no real problem about this tho...most people wanted others to know who they are ingame anyway...at least 70% of the users have some kind of ID sig.

Now we need something similar to POL site so we can see gear too ^^ i liked that feature alot ^^

But yeah...would be wise of them popping an update at privacy part of ToS just in case since they turning public part of players' private info...better safe than sorry. ^^:
