    It is misleading to call it Technical Support then, when it is on the website for the game. I understand that a ticket can be submitted for certain types of support.

    If this is "The Games" "Support" page, then someone with inside understanding of the support issues should be monitoring it, and offering solutions. If it is a "User Support Forum" then they should call it that. Not all of users are going to understand (nor do we need to) the fundamentals of server technologies for games.

    No one from SE has ever emailed me back that they are working on a solution, or telling me what a solution is.

    6 months is a long time to not play a game you pay for, and not get a solution for your ticket. That was the reason for my post.

    If you click the support link for the game... the one on the launcher, it takes you to the support portal, not here. This is the URL it takes you to:

    SE's forums for both XI and XIV have basically just been set up that way since their inception. That's just typically how it is on Community Forums in general... not just here. IDK if maybe it's a cultural or language thing that causes things to get lost in translation, but that is how it's been for the better part of a decade now.

    Oh, and SE isn't the only one that does it that way. Blizzard even does it... they just have their guys be more proactive in the forums is all. It's usually prudent to read the rules beforehand so you know what to expect, and what to do if you need escalation for a problem.

    Thanks guys for the posts to keep this alive. I can log into my account but all my gil is gone and i was told ANYTHING i do will not be saved when they"Roll back" my account. Trust me i call the support line every week hoping someone will do something and not be lazy and say "That is in a different department which you cannot contact" 6-months is a long time no matter how many people got hacked and the lack of customer support or...Anything to give a paying customer is bs. But! I will not use this space to troll and vent. But i just wanted to inform people and also have some hopes of someone from SE seeing this and try to help me?! If anyone might have a backdoor or know of someone i can call or even email PLEASE post... After spending a lot of time getting everything to lv50 i would hate to just walk away because of this but i might have to take my money and spend it some where else...

    Unless the name change system is very, very poorly designed the change wouldn't get you off anyones blacklist. The blacklist "should" be blacklisting a player ID, not the actual name.

    well seeing how i now have only 14 days left on my subscription they better fix it asap because i will not waste more money to keep it open if they are not going to even do anything. TBH i played about 1 1/2 month out of the 6 i bought.... Meh...

    I called again last night.. Still no help other then "This is taking longer than normal" really? no #$%#! If i knew it was going to take this long i would have far gone the roll back and been playing.. They have no notes other then they have been working on it since sept... lol wow... sounds like things like this are not there top priority's...
