    Patch questions

    So here is the situation, i have limited internet because i live in the middle of nowhere. my girlfriend wants to play again but her computer needs the patch and we cant afford to download it. is there a way i can patch it from the files that i downloaded on my computer?

    you can just copy your square enix folder to hers, but make sure she back up her hot bar (C:\Users\USERNAME\Documents\My Games\FINAL FANTASY XIV - A Realm Reborn). Once the file is copied over, just reinstall the above folder and voila!

    With Patch 2.1 onward, you can use the Launcher to backup/restore the configuration settings. Check the toolbar in the bottom of Launcher (the furthest right).
