You are hilarious. I can't believe how mad you are just because people want better character models.Which makes it a non-simple task to "repair" it. Which is retarded to even suggest because it was done on purpose.
No, you guys really have absolutely no clue how game development works to suggest anything is a "simple fix" if it isn't on a schedule to be done. Knowing how to round out the ass on a model does not suggest you know shit about game development.
And i don't know why people are still complaining about this. The models were changed on purpose and nothing short of an extensive graphical update would say otherwise. The models are designed to be clothed, and thats what the dev team is (and should be) focusing their attention.

@Edellis, who are you to dictate what the dev team should and should not work on? Fixing this would not derail the development of new content. I don't think YOU know how game development works :/
Edit: Great post Jynx

When the developers told us that they had to change quite a bit on the character models to pump out gear designs faster, I have to admit confusion.
Anyone who bought the original Collector's Edition of the game probably watched that included "the making of" DVD and realized they had a system in place that could automatically deform the character model/gear mesh at it's contact points.
If I remember correctly, the designer at the time claimed that this system allowed them to make gear faster because it did most of the work for them. What ever happened to that?
To answer my own question or guess at it, I would suppose that when they threw aside Crystal Tools they had to scrap that system as well and implement an entirely new one that requires everything be done by hand.
I have some pictures/videos of people pulling off some really interesting looks using armor/cloth/leather together and I never saw clipping in that game except for when their physics system was on the fritz (It would freeze anything that could move in an unmovable state).

allright a buttpost!
So i shall post my recent discovery after i crashed & got back into game earlier today!
Enjoyz!

I agree with the OP.
They need to fix the behinds on the characters because really, it's just too jarring otherwise.
Mind you, it's not so bad when the behind is covered by armor but for gear that does emphasize the behind.... well... it's just painful to see it missing. =\
They really should fix behinds and clipping if there is going to be any emphasis on the vanity system, heck for some non vanity items the two issues are really bothersome. =_=;

I noticed it also on my wifes behind on her character.
Its flat it reminds me of a saggy adult diaper in different colors, even with other armors its just like a tiny bump and then flat.
Not to be rude but its almost like a granny panties.
I think people were asking for a slider before the game came out of beta and they totally ignored it.
I really don't care just wanna play the game but I do understand people though people wanna look good bathing suits or what not but looking at their model from behind kills it.

Those man-butts look so weird to me :/
This is not how this works, SE!
