    Please Remove (or raise) the 10 rank SP cap

    Just as the topic title states, I think rank difference cap should be removed or raised. The cap has removed all incentive to fight a mob more than 10 ranks above your character. Even though you can kill such mobs easily, there is no reason to do so. If you're in a party grinding for SP, doing so is actually a detriment since harder mobs take more time but don't reward the effort with more SP.

    A lot of the reason that players do not grind on open world mobs much is due to this cap. If it benefited me in any way to fight a r40 mob with a group of r20s over fighting r30 mobs, I'd do so in a heartbeat. This is the number one reason we've all gravitated to leves as the main way to get SP. If we could get SP at a similar rate by grinding on difficult open world mobs as through leve linking, who wouldn't do it?

    Removing the cap would influence power leveling where a higher ranked character can kill a high ranked mob and the low ranks would just follow for large chunks of SP. Not saying this is a terrible idea but probably something SE is trying to avoid.

    just calculate it in a different way and the really low people in the party don't get the xp, can't be that hard, works just fine in other games. And on the other hand. SE can't keep focusing their decisions only around RMT and preventing powerleveling. but powerleveling can be prevented much easier.

    as much as this would create a bit more challenge for sp, i dont think youd really get more per hour cuz of it cuz mobs would get harder

    what it would promote is easier power leveling

    it might not be more SP, I think probably closer to an equal rate since you'd get more SP per kill, but the kills would take longer. That's all I really want. To be able to grind on stuff that requires at least some skill, instead of getting less sp over time for doing so.

    really? you wouldn't fight harder mobs that require more skill if it were to benefit you?

    the problem is, the extra time it took to kill those higher mobs would negate the extra sp youd gain

    This would be perfectly fine with me. As long as the rate at which I gain SP doesn't go down for killing harder mobs, I'd be happy, but it currently does.
