Sorry to hear about your experience. If it truly is true that you need to do the damage as a Tank then yeah you need a better group. Perhaps check the server section for a FC or ls that you may join, probably one that has cleared coil T1-T5 this way they should have no issues with Moggle

Wut? You don't need to clear coil period to even clear Mog or Titan HM. I cleared it just fine on my first relic. Took a day of serious practice but beats it in the end :/ And that was a month and a half after release 10/6/13.
OP, if you have no time to PF or no friends to ask to come, I'm sorry but you won't get a clear before your break.

The way I deal with it is to retire from trials. From hundreds of attempts, my experience is that parties have a 100% failure rate on Titan HM, Thornmarch, Ultima's Bane and higher content. The problem is that top tier weapons cannot be bought with tomes and must be won from primals, so I have to use a PvP weapon for PvE content since I have no other options.
