Long wait time for Duty Finder for dungeons

Is it normal to wait 15 - 20 minutes for a dungeon in the duty finder queue. I am currently using a level 20 Pug choosing all the available dungeons. I am wondering if this is an issue with not enough low level players but from my understand this should be cross server?

It's because you're playing a DPS class. So yes, a wait is normal.

There is a disparity between DPS and tanks and healers. You are pretty much in a queue behind all the other DPS that are waiting for a healer and tank to join up.

If you don't like to wait 20+ minutes for DF dungeons, you should abandon DPS and level a tank or healer. I would love to tell you that it gets better the higher you get, but it doesn't

select all languages at the top before queuing...reduces the wait time quite a bit...only bad thing is they are mostly Japanese players! im trying to lvl my black mage and summoner and it takes some time at lvl 50 even with all languages selected!

but as above mentioned if u don't like waiting ages in queue roll a tank or healer....my main is a healer, all languages selected at lvl 50, ~1min queue time

lol, thats why i became a sch, i started with arcanist and the queue was a pain in the ass, but i thought it was normal, until I became a sch, it was insta queue then it was average time of 5-10 min, then i became a pld and insta queue again xD, so, to many dps means longer queue times cause no one likes tanking
