Requesting: more uses for guild marks(and some adjusted prices)

SO Im pitching this idea again since its been a while.

We need more things to spend out guild makrs on. Everyone does.

I will start off by listing a few things we should have for sale in each crafting guild(battle guilds im not sure, but im sure you can do something along the same lines too, so pitch these ideas too guys)


Crystals: Lower price! 100 per crystal is a complete ripoff, 10-20 points per is more a price thats worth using them at the rate we get and use them.
Shards: Sell us shards for marks! 1-2 points per shard.

Materials: Lets take the goldsmith guild for instance, it would be nice to see Brass/Silver/Electrum for sale in it, or in the cases of several other guilds, base materials(like nuggets, leathers, lumbers, and so on)

Anima recharges?: spending so many marks per anima point you get back....could be worth it

Right now im sure many people out there are starting to build up massive ammounts of marks thanks to the increase in marks given in one of the previous patches, they went from being something you earned, to something that was handed to you often, way too often.

Especially the anima recharge!! I spend more of my anima porting for crafting reasons, ie support, get or turn in locals.
So being able to recharge my anima from the G.Marks i receive would be helpful.

very much agreed! Lately, Guild Marks have gone from something I lust for, to something less valuable than gil. I would love more options on what I can purchase with these.

Perhaps at high ranks DoH are offered rare materials for a steep price, or even tool upgrades. And our dedicated DoW troops can buy special class exclusive tonics to temporarily boost our performance when in a pinch, or just to use when were feelin' crazy.

There's tons of options here, and though I can't recall them mentioning this issue, I hope they have some plans in the works.

Consider this thread bumped. We need more support for it.

I especially like the idea of getting raw/base mats through guildmarks. We need something to spend these on because the current abilities/books are not enough. I've got a nasty surplus in Alchemist and wishing I could either do something with them or transfer them to another craft.

300 marks for a single crystal is far too high. Please consider lowering it, SE. ^^

I know I have 20,000+ points on some of my DoW classes now that I'll probably never use. It'd be neat if they allowed us to buy class focused gear or items with them like with the company marks.

Class gear, raw materials, lowered prices on shards/crystals, all fantastic ideas. I'd also throw in, maybe instead of class gear, a piece that is needed for some of the top craft/gather gear but can only be obtained from the guild. This is more in the interest of crafters/gatherers but they could do it for combat classes too in different ways. Crafting and Gathering classes haven't seen tons of new gear in a long time, especially not R50 gear. This way they could introduce newer gear, keep leves relevant in some manner and give people goals to work towards.

They should let you purchase guild specific teleport scrolls so you can teleport to the relevant guilds with a cooldown and limited charges.

These are great ideas guys! Keep them coming. ^^ I especially like the idea of gear. Class specific gear would be great for purchase with guild marks. Make it nice and expensive so that we will really feel like we earned it when we make that mark purchase.
