I wish there was a way for healers to cycle through party members with r1 and l1 on a controler. That or bring back <stpc> macros like we had in ffxi. It would be awesome to be able to cycle through party members while the cross bar is visible.

Since you can use L1 and R1 to cycle through mobs when L2 or R2 is held down, it seems like it would be possible to use that to cycle through party members if you used the party members target filter at the same time. I find it awkward to tab target with L1 and R1 so I haven't personally tested this though.
How about Player Character cycling? I know there's /nextpc, or something else... I'd love to have cycling non-party members when I'm adventuring and I see people and I want to heal them.
EDIT: Hell, why not allow us to use the Mouse Wheel paired with Ctrl or something to allow player cycling, or Alt to cycle party.

I 100% agree with this idea!!How about Player Character cycling? I know there's /nextpc, or something else... I'd love to have cycling non-party members when I'm adventuring and I see people and I want to heal them.

+1 for player cycling/targeting, needed for 'eye for an eye' atm I have to click on the name top right of my screen
There's no setting to "Cycle through Party Members." There's "Cycle through Enemies (Tab & Shift+Tab)", "Cycle Up/Down through Enmity List (Ctrl+Num8 & Ctrl+Num2)", and even "Cycle through Alliance List (Ctrl+Num6 & Ctrl+Num4)". But if you want to cycle through the party, you have to enable target cycling in Character Settings, set up keys to "Set Targeting Mode to Party Only" and then back to whatever you want it on, then begin cycling.
This is a fantastic guide outlining that process: http://www.reddit.com/r/ffxiv/comments/1knlxo/
But it's so much more involved than it needs to be. I'd much rather there be available keybinds to do the exact same thing as "Cycle through Alliance List" but with the Party List. It seems a little ridiculous that the functionality is there but not capitalized on. Please please, SE.
This. Let us Cycle through Party Members the same way we can cycle through nearby Mobs or the Alliance. There's no setting to "Cycle through Party Members."
