Gearset cannot locate gear bug

Sometimes when I switch to another class, the game will complained that the gear cannot be found, even though it is inside the Armoury. There is only 1 copy inside the Armoury.

That's a result of melded equipment having a different internal ID compared to unmelded equipment.
That was introduced with 2.16 and therefore old gearsets have to be re-saved to get rid of that message.

My gear is not melded and I have updated the gearset a few times after patch 2.16.
I already notice this issue even before 2.16, few months ago.

No, it is not a result of the melding gear, because not even changes to my macros save, and when last I checked, macros cannot be melded with materia. I am on ps3, and any change I make to ANY of my gear sets are not saved. Usually when you change a piece of gear and register it, a small message "Saving" will appear to save the changes for ps3 players. It is the same for changing ANYTHING in a macro, words, spelling, pictures, anything. Since 2.16 this does not happen and any changes are missing once I switch classes every time I log into the game. Not even any changes in spelling to my macros are saved. This is getting annoying and needs to be fixed.
