Dark Knight minus the horrible acc and then unnecessary enmity would be nice.
A similar armor to the AF, but obviously with a new touch.
And a scythe please.

DRK and SAM. Both preferred to be tank jobs. (like how true FFXI vets played them as)
Dancer......

Blue Mage or Dancer!!
Blue Mage being my first choice!! - It would be great to go out and not sit about in towns (think one of the original posters had a similar mind set)
Dancer - I think it would make for a nice "different" healer - close combat utilising tp for healing rather than mp.

Speak for yourself. I'll take a SMN job that does it's intended job over a half-done job that was seen as a half-cooked WHM.
On topic, I'll take Geomancer if it doesn't take a century to cast spells.

It's tricky - I really really enjoyed FFXI's summoner, and I do like XIV's as well, however like most people I'm not a fan of the Egi's - from a lore perspective I understand their small size, but if there were bigger and slightly more primal like, I'd enjoy it more.
Corsair...I need a gun and pirate clothes.
No more cast bars for Bard! Thank you, Yoshi-P! All hail our lord and savior!

I did too, but it always seemed like people were fighting against the tide with devs who were so scared to let the job DO it's job. It's gratifying that Yoshi & Co. picked a lane and let SMN do what it's meant to do without stepping on BLM's toes.

Mmm, I agree - Like I said I do like Smn in XIV - I often play as SMN when I need to DPS and I was pretty excited for it when they were teasing it before the game went live![]()
