Also worth noting is that cross class skills that aren't part of your job's class set (Main Class/Sub Class) are super useful, and you'll have one or two additional "sub classes" that you can get skills from.

For example, White Mage has Conjurer as its primary class and Arcanist as its sub class, but they can also get skills from Thaumaturge and Archer. The Thaumaturge ability "Swiftcast" is invaluable for high level White Mage play because it allows you cast your next spell instantly instead of waiting for a casting time (which is usually used for Raise, as it has an 8 second cast normally.)

So whatever class and job you end up landing on when the game releases for PS4, check what additional sub classes you can borrow skills from and consider leveling them up to get those. Also, if you're planning to level Marauder/Warrior, try to get Gladiator to Level 8 pretty quickly (don't wait to level it until after you hit 30 on Marauder). Getting Gladiator to Level 8 will allow to use the "Flash" skill. That skill will be invaluable to you in lower level dungeons (as it will be your main source of pulling enmity on multiple targets at once.)
