Gear set/macro changes not saved in game.

I have been experiencing an issue since the 2.16 path. Any changes I make to any of my gear sets are not saved. For example: After the patch, I had gotten the HQ Alchemist's Monocle, and so had gotten rid of my NQ monocle. Usually, for ps3 players, when you can save any changes to the gear set by hitting the proper button and the word, "Saving" will appear on the bottom right of the screen. However, since the patch, this no longer happens, and every time I log into the game, I am wearing no monocle or any piece of gear that I change and try to save to. And, it is not an issue with materia because one: they fixed that, and two: any changes to my macros do not save, as well. And macros cannot be melded with materia, as they are simply commands.

I have had this issue as well. If I create a new gear set, say for weaver, it doesn't save the new one and when I log in next the gear set reverts to my old one which has almost all of my gear missing. This has happened since the 2.16 patch.

Are you on PS3 like the OP?

Have you tried deleting one set and recreating it?

I said ps3, I believe. And yes, I have recreated my gear sets. There is no change in the bug. Believe me, guys, if this problem had a simple anwser, there would be no need for this thread and none of you would be here posting on it. LOL

The PS3 question was for Beebee_20...
Plenty of other "bugs" have had simple answers. More information just makes it more likely that your issue will actually be looked into.

Well, there is one other person that posted a separate thread with the same issue. I posted mine, as well, for the reason of exposure. And yes, many bugs have simple solutions, however, this one does not. Thus, is my point. But, if you have any other bits of wisdom that could possibly solve this problem that you see fit to share, then share it, by all means, and put an end to this problem that is a plague to others. Quite a few are dying to be quit of such an issue. I, myself, am no exception.

PS3 player with exact same issue here. Also, to add on to this problem...

I log out in a job (let us say WHM). I switch to another job (MNK) and go dilly prancing around in a dungeon for experience and gear. When I acquire an upgrade in gear I'll obviously equip it and save the set to update it. However, it will now always ask me if I want to save over my WHM set. .....and it will always be the class/job I logged out in previously.

Bit annoying.
