Yep...no experience in this game, but you've played other RPGs/MMOs before so you're an expert.

Just because I've been playing FPSs for over 20 years doesn't mean I'm the best person out there and will dominate every match I'm in


EDIT: also, saying you looked up a guide so you're an expert is still silly...how many people have watched Titan EX/Turn 5 vids yet can't clear them?

First off I never claimed to be an expert after reading a guide, second off if you are trying to tell me that this game is so different that I wouldn't understand how rotations with buffs and debuffs which require timing work well you can stop right there. I know all I need to know about the game to make eduacated guesses and the only thing I don't know is the timing because I havent hit 50 yet. Big deal...

I'm sure there are a lot of people that just screw it up terribly, because they are either new to the style, are very young, lazy, or just not capable. but I'm not one of those people, I always do my research and I practice with damage calculators to verify rotations and could probably write strategy guides on this game with a lot of boring work. I just need to punch in numbers.. pretty simple but a lot of work.
Sadly ANYONE has the same ability but most don't care or are too lazy. So say what you want about my experience in this game, but I would be willing to bet a good sum that any non pvp rotation in ff14 couldn't possibly be more complex than most of the macros I have set up for some of my other games.

Doubtful, because you sound like you're only 14 years old let alone played MMOs for that long. But I get it. You like to be big and mighty on the internet with your swearing and trash talk. Its unfortunate, because I was going to respond to your first post constructively. But since I can't read any of what you wrote in any posts after that without imagining it being said with a cracking voice and only one hand on the keyboard, you get this instead.

I enjoyed DRG in FFXI also, but in this game dragoons kill dragons (and thus, wyverns). That is the reason for the job's existence.

Dragon may not have a pet but who every said that they can't have a second job with wyvern? I know what most people going to say that would just make dragon useless and i'm sure that would happen even if they add a job without a pet. I Played enough mmo long to learn that sometime you have to play something else to do stuff you enjoy in a mmo.. The story allow it in 1.0 the Dragon job quest had a dude summon his own pet They could also come up with stuff because tbh they been doing that for months now lol.. So they could make a job base on lore of a Lancer mastering his skill to gain trust and get a wyvern on his/her side. There also bad and good in about every Beast Tribes so why can't they be wyverns and dragons that are good?

The story support it and the game system support this. I guess a lot of people forget but the job system is like wow tree system. Lancer is the Class and the role is the job it's just like wow tree system. Yoshi-p said that class going to have more then 2 jobs at some point.pugilist can get puppetmaster and that already have a lot of support in the game there a lot of puppets. I also remember yoshi-p saying somewhere can't remember where that he may add a job that have a wyvern a pet but dragon itself wont every because it's part of the lore. So ya they could add a second job with a wyvern pet and please don't say you don't want this also because tbh it's not all about you. A lot of people want the dragon job itself to have a pet which i don't agree but i do agree on making other job for lancer i with a pet.

Also it could make for a awesome storyline one side kill them one side saves and befriends them. Think about it before complaining and and not wanting other to have what they want with you still keeping yours.

Can't believe no one thought about this i guess people have really forgot that job system is a wow tree spec.

I could care less if they add another job that uses a wyvern, just leave Dragoon in peace and do not add a wyvern to it, I want my Dragoon to jump and deal damage and not to care for a pet.
