Future Races for FFXIV

^. The FF worlds are all linked but they have their own storylines. They all take place in the same Universe but not necessarily same planet - So Hydal. Tecnically shouldn't have the Reapers (Dragon) from FFVI as a Magitek unit, how can two different worlds create the same exact Magitek model..? How can both encompass the same exact 'Weapon' (Ultima) design? It can't be a 'coincidence'..

This goes way too much into the lore and out of my level of informations about it. xD May someone has a good explanation for that "coincidence"?

This is why Race wise, it's a bit touchy if they add completely new Races because, what would it be? How would it be different than just adding in a race from Ivalice, Gria for example? That way they at least would still be sticking to the same universe like they already have been doing. Originality usually happens between each game through the systems and storyline,

That's why i did mention Viera and/or Ronso. Ronso may be a little bit iffy to fit into the world, but i can totally see Viera with some little changes. If we look at a certain Gear-Concept from a while ago... idk.. i find it obvious, while other people said it is the gear changing the actual anatomy of the body.



To have an existing race fit into that... impossible. For all existing gear, it changes its size from race to face and does not fuck up the anatomy at all. This Set of Gear does.. or is it a simple tease ( since there is actually no face )? People tried to argue when SE first did show the artwork for the XIV cover and it did show a scholar, but was not confirmed.. as soon as i saw it i knew it was SCH.. people denied it SOOO HARD... but in the end i was right. We will know soon enough i guess.

while you may find this bad..that's really what RPGs, FF in particular, are known for. ARR doesn't even have its own unique systems in terms of RPG or MMORPGs. So why not actually continue to make this a FF game and utilize races already present if they can make them fit?

Gria is the one race that can fit perfectly in this game.

Gria would be awesome actually. I don't find it bad at all, did i give that impression, or was that directed at the person i've quoted? That is basically why i love the FF-Universe and why i would don't mind at all having i.e. Lightning appear in XIV.
