Didn't Yoshi-P, back just before the game was released, say the next race (and we are getting one) would be a fully bestial race? I think he even went so far as to specifically say Viera were -NOT- going to be in because we already have a humanish race with some animal features (Looking at you Miqo'te).

That being said, there are a lot of race he could pick, but bestial would definitely have to fit the bill. Maybe h'll go Ookami style like wow lol
