From here, the quest seems to be bugged, map button does not work and there is no abandon button.

There is one quest there where you're told to go look for signs.
That one don't have any area shown on the map, so you'll have to look around where the diremites are. Should be able to find a camp fire.

I went to the location that there should have been the worn leather bag, but, again, there is no indication of anything on the map or in-world. The quest simply is dead in the water.
