Not sure how I feel about this move. On one hand it would be nice to be able to benefit from having a job, but on the other hand I'd say I wouldn't have put in the time as others who slave on the game due to lack of friends and/or a job lol.

Terrible idea. It undermines hardcore playing just like fatigue does. Use something with a cooldown like a exp band, or a universal form of Guardian's Aspect (This would be cool). That way players aren't rewarded for NOT playing, but rather rewarded for being patient.
I don't think hardcore players would care even if rested xp was in place. I believe they would grind more SP than casuals while casuals are waiting for their bonus.
