Yoshi - Are there any plans to make the cross class system better/more fun?

Are there any planed improvements for the Cross class system?

I am sure a lot of people notice how shallow the "cross class" system is. The system I was hoping for was the "Bravely Default" class system.

    Main Job spells
    Sub job spells
x number of special passive that you can pull from any job.

While I do not expect that exact same system I would at least expect something a little more deep than what we have.

That is it. I am keeping this short and sweet. No one wants to read a book.

    EDIT

To expand on what I say later what if the cross class system worked more like this,

To expand on jobs we get more cross class skills. Simple but effective.

To expand on classes we give each cross class skill a stat worth.

    Example:
Hawkeye is not a very effective cross class skill for anyone really. Instead of changing the skill we add a stat worth to it. Due to hawkeye being an undesirable skill it has a higher bonus. I think Jobs would gain 50% of whatever Classes gain.

Classes with Hawkeye equipped as a cross class skill gain +10 acc.

Lets take a highly sought after skill like Raging Strikes.

Classes with Raging strikes equipped as a cross class ability gain +5 skill speed/spell speed.

You notice it has less points and a less desirable stat. The stat still fits with the skill.. Bonus damage and extra attacks.

I could add a lot more examples but I dont think anyone cares to see them. You get the idea.

Since playing from 1.0 myself, if by now you haven't adjusted to the class system layout, you might want to just stick to Bravery Default (amazing game btw). There won't be any changes to how the class system works. I don't have the source atm but i did remember seeing that it was posted in the beta forums that this is how it is, this is how its gonna stay, this is how it works the smoothest for how the game was designed.

No wonder General Forums has nightmare threads such as this.

Individuals really try to find anything to complain just for the sake of it, and then they don't even try to think on the reasons things are the way they don't want it.

Kyte and Greed already nailed it.

Classes having 2-5 useful cross class skills is VERY boring.

Every DRG is 98% the same as every other DRG. There is no real choice when it comes to building your class so why even have the system in the game?

No, it's not. They are meant to help and improve your gameplay in specific situations, not to be your main skills.

So... If one job is made somewhat more "independent" than the others, the whole system is broken? Your logic is incredible. You even have other 3 classes @ 50 to prove yourself wrong.

Because the difference is the players skill.

I have expressed my concerns in more clear detail before. However I did not feel it necessary for this simple question. Are there any planned improvements on the cross class system. I didn't say that the current system is the worst thing ever or even try to be negative about it. I just asked a simple question. Pointed out an example and ended it there.

I as a gamer like customization. I like to build and play in a way that makes me feel like a special little snowflake because that is the kind of gamer I am. I don't expect everyone to be like this but I was just asking if the game has any plans to accommodate this.

    "Nightmare thread" .... wtf

Basically this. Realistically there is no choice for any class when picking cross class skills. But it makes you feel like you have a choice if you don't think about it too much (like you have... I did too)
