Because those FATE bosses/mobs are easy. REAL open world bosses, can't be zerged down.Sorry for maybe a noob question because I never XI and only played 1.0 for like 2 weeks.
But if we have open world 'Boss' monsters like NMs (is that what they are?), what's there to stop 100 players come and kill them in 10 seconds? Like what happened now to Odin (I know we can't kill Odin in 10 seconds but I suppose NMs are weaker than Odin?).
That will be like some free loot for people who bother running them, rather than some challenge/team work/fun.
If we're talking about making them like real open world bosses and elites in other games then yes.
I can't compare them to NM because I didn't play 1.0 :<



Only if they change the claim system (we have kill-sharing) or make them reserved like leve enemies. You can zerg every enemy down in open world outside of a leve, not only the FATE enemies.

Hmmm, I didn't know we have kill sharing, haven't paid much attention. Maybe who ever does the most dps?
