S-sized homes should have 1 additional floor

After watching some screenshots from the S-sized houses. I'm off the opinion that the S-sized ones should have an additional floor. Even it is a small attic. Just something to put like a bed or two.

For the current expensive price. I think it's only reasonable. Not to mention that M-sized houses have a basement and an upper floor. At least it would make S-sized houses a bit more tempting to buy as a FC.

What's everyone their thoughts on this?

I would agree, thing is though they probly didnt due to how much space stairs would take up making the upstairs not really any more space... the house needs to be bigger on the inside vs whats outside

Or what they should really allow is outside adjustment to use more of the lot for the house... i'd trade more outside for inside area then stairs could fit and a 2nd floor viable... i mean the roof already has the elements so clearly someone was planning a 2nd floor for it at one point in the dev process

S size does seem too small for an FC "office"/HQ. Even an 8-member party static could very quickly outgrow the space. ("We got a Garuda sofa!" "Great! Now we can't open the door!") Maybe SE could do a compact-sized staircase to make a second floor feasible.

SE really needs to do something to make the S houses more attractive, since they represent 2/3 of the available houses per zone.

Edit: Yes, I know that sofas will actually fit in small houses (image link), but that image is showing 2/3 of the floor space.

Totally agree. It's too tiny for a small FC (20 to 30 members). Not only is there not enough room to place more than 10 to 15 people in it but there also is limiting space for furniture. At least add a basement or something.

It's fine for a single person but not for a FC.

Having another floor would be perfect. We recently got a small FC house in Gridania and it is TINY. Like claustrophobic tiny. It's the size of a real life one person occupancy efficiency. But even just having the 2nd floor would help out. Maybe if it was loft styled, to help open up the space a little. And yeah, there are some furnishings that just flat out don't fit in the small house. You should have seen me laughing when i put Llymlaen's Embrace in there. It's so big it clips something no matter where you put it!

I think Smalls should have either a spiral staircase (since those take up less space) that leads to a loft, or a small basement. Even for 1 person it's such a small area!

Or heck, just make the inside a tiny bit larger, since interiors are already not 1:1 to the outside building size anyway.

I'm happy with our cozy small house because our FC is small, but I saw a medium house the other day and couldn't get over how much bigger it was! The small houses really should have an extra floor; a spiral staircase going up would be nice.
