A hello with many questionmarks

Hello everyone *waves* ( ^_^)/

So I am very new. I kind of made my account the night of Sunday to Monday and while I did play a little bit I'm still very early ingame and haven't really gotten the chance to get into it yet.
Now last night something bad happened. My laptop was stolen while I was sleeping and noticed the front door noise and when I checked my laptop was gone.
So seems like I don't get to try the game then? Unless does anyone know if I can download ot for free or with a discount for my playstation? I only see it for sale at a full price but I already bought the game I don't need an extra code for a free month! I just need the game on the PS3 and I could continue and get to know the game and peeps a bit to then decide after my first month if I want to stay because I'm comfy and found a nice online hangout or if it's not quite my thing.
I wish to play and distract my mind with fun things from what happened the past hours. Just no idea how to get a solution foor this.

Sadly, the PS3 and PC versions need to be purchased seperatly. There's no discount for owning one or the other already

You'd get to play no problem. You just need to download it again. Your account information isn't stored locally. Unless I'm misunderstanding your situation. You pay to get the installation key. If you already have a registered account, it should work fine. If that would be the case, anyone that ever formatted their computer would be SoL.

You can't switch platforms for free. NintenPyjak64 is correct. If you have a PC account, you need to buy the PS3 version to play on PS3, and vice versa. Once you have a given platform tied to your account, you can download and play that account on that platform anytime, but switching/adding still requires a purchase.

Yep, that part I knew already. I must have misunderstood the question because of how it was worded. If they had access to another computer, there wouldn't be any problems with playing the game.

That's terrible that your laptop was stolen =/ Like the others said you'll have to purchase a PS3 copy to be able to play on the PS3. It's a rather annoying deal, but that's how it is.

That said, if you end up buying the PS3 version make sure to put the PS3 game on the service account you already have so you can access your character on both PC and PS3. You are allowed several service accounts for the game on your Square Enix account, so if you make the mistake of creating a new service account on your SE account you will not be able to access your character on the other platform and have two separate service accounts that need separate payments.

The only place you can download it for free is for PC. That's very unfortunate that you had your laptop stolen though
