Login Restriction

I'm sure from the title many of you will guess right away what I'm bringing up as an issue...

I reset my router as it had been acting up a fair bit today, then sat down to play some FFXIV on my PS3... and lo and behold, my account gets restricted for suspicious activity resulting from my router reset.

Now, I'm aware that when that happens you need to reactivate or change your password, however it's been roughly 1 hour and 20 minutes since then, and I've yet to receive an e-mail, and about one hour ago I tried several times to reset my password, and I have yet to receive those emails as well.

So, is this a common thing? As I really do not wish to wait near enough two hours each time my router resets (or had it been several weeks ago, reset every time power goes out in Summer). Surely it should not take such a long time to deal with this and has left me feeling rather disappointed in the game as I was quite enjoying it.

I have this issue as well and email hasn't been sent to my mail yet. I'm using Gmail btw.

For what it's worth, I'm also on GMail, however I'd hope that's not affecting it given how commonly used it is...

I used to change password a lot with Gmail but it seems Gmail have an issue with my Paypal confirmation mail before. I hope it doesn't with ffxiv.

Not sure if it relates at all, but when I submitted a ticket to SE at 6AM yesterday morning I didn't even get the auto-response telling me they'd respond in the next 48 hours until 16 hours later.

Well crappy... seems likely I'll be waiting a while -_- Been near 2 hours now And here I'd been looking forward to playing after spending most of the day packing to move house... where I will likely have the same problem due to a new internet line -_-

It won't give you the suspicious activity spiel when you access from different IPs if you use the one-time password.

Yeah, you won't get the restriction but shouldn't wait this long to get an email. New marketing plan for those who used Gmail? Nice try XD
