PS3 Platinum Trophy Fails To Be Awarded

1. Earn 100% of PS3 trophies, finishing with 1000 levequests.
2. Do not earn PS3 platinum trophy.

I recently finished my final FFXIV trophy on PS3 (i.e., all non-platinum trophies have been awarded appropriately), but the platinum trophy has not been awarded.

I think this behavior is not generalized to everyone because a member of my raid group had the 1K levequests as his last trophy, too, and he received the platinum trophy without incident.

I spent a subset of my time playing on the PC version of the game, so it occurred to me that this could potentially be a relevant factor. It could also be a 2.16 issue, since my friend received the platinum trophy during 2.15.

The platinum trophy was awarded at 4:30 EST (about 50 minutes from the time of this follow-up post). I'm not sure what prompted it, but the situation appears to have been resolved.
