    Gear damage patch 2.16

    Ok gear damage taken is a bit high.

    I'm not certain why it was changed it was fine before.

    I really cant repair to 100% before and after every dungeon if the NPC's dont want to cough up any gil.

    Leves grant barely 1k gil per leve at level 50, and i actually do like playing the game.

    Currently people who only play for about 2 hours a day dont have a gear damage issue but people who play beyond that have to do extensive gear repairs.

    80gil per item if repaired using dark matter. Its not ~horrible~ i will admit but it is rather high with the current damage rate.

    I feel like after i craft up 20 HQ toast or run CT and we all know how some CT's can go, i'm taking over 40% worth of damage.

    Please return it to how it was pre 2.16?

    Repair prices are not that bad.

    Just run the other high level dungeons and kill things. A single Duty Roulette run as a Tank should get you 3 to 4K per run. That should be more than enough to cover the original dungeon run and at least one or two CT runs.

    Since you have all classes and jobs maxed why don't you just repair your own gear and save monies?

    The issue is the amount of times i'm required to remember to repair during extended hours of play.

    I pretty much have to repair 2-3 times per day now as opposed to once per day or after doing something for very very long, such as 7 CT's cause (i have horrible drop rate luck) or a Garuda Extreme farm. If i do 1 CT i lose about 40%. So if i'm doing 7+ per day.... Thats a lot of remembering/repairing.

    Here is an example. I wanted monk pants from CT i ran literally 36 times over the span of two weeks to get the pants.
