Learning parties are a good way to repel players who will criticize you for not knowing what you're doing or for being undergeared. They can also frequently attract experienced players who want to help out. I have though pointed out to people that they'd be very lucky, for example, the beat Titan HM with the absolute minimum ilvl required to enter. I don't try to be mean about it, but it's probably a bit disheartening.

Everyone here pretty much nailed it. Find a good group of LS/FC mates to work content with, and most of all be open about your experience. The game has many people that'll help explain content.
Most of all, don't take abuse or trolling from other players. Just blacklist them and move on, they're are so many people that are helpful that you'll be able to progress without issue. There are a number of sites with guides that are helpful for content as well:
Dungeons & Regular Primals

Extreme Primals and T5

Everything else - Why the commentary is sometimes lengthy, the points are typically valid.

Hope that helps!

I may transfer to Phoenix once legacy transfer kicks in, I'd be more than happy to run dungeons with you if I do transfer over.
Want to know how i learned the fights in 4 and 8 mans? Log into Duty Finger, smash your head against the boss until you learn how it works. See a void zone, dont stand in that. Everyone else running to one location, follow them. The other DPS is hitting this new mob mid fight, go DPS that too. Everyone packed together on the same spot, join em. You die, you learn. You die again, you learn why. You die one more time, you understand.

the party finder can be a great tool if used properly.
as someone mentioned before, making your own "Learning Group" can go along way. But you may run into long waits if the content you are trying to become familiar with is outdated (Hard Mode Primals)
another thing i see people on my server doing with the party finder is making a generic post and putting in there that they are "Looking for X group/LS/FC" (LF Casual Endgame LS)

You'll definitely experience a lot of rage and stuff but you need to expect this in any game that you reach endgame in. People will become much more serious and frustrated because content will increase in difficulty. The problem with this game is, there are a LOT of casuals and the "elitists" don't feel like dealing with them. I would just Duty Find things to learn the fights (although DF players often times rage as well). It's your best bet, or join a casual FC.

Do your research (watch videos, read guide, learn your class/job), and try to find a FC or linkshell with like-minded people such as yourself. Do these things and you will be well on your way to learning end-game.
