    ...................................if you have any ideas post them here. and i know not all will agrea with me on this subject im not saying remove the way it is now im just saying at a lill bit of the old school back to it i know for a fact that SE has lost players that liked it how it was in 1.0 my aunt being one of them and if i cant get back into it i might be also. i know a couple people wont break them but i was loyal to 11 till abyssea and i came back after a while till seakers of adoline or how ever its spelled so far i still fell like they have broke ffxiv. i love the fact that they have implemnted the houseing aspect of it i like that just fell its a lill early. sorry for my rants just giveing sugestions for a game i once loved and hopefully will love again

    It be nice to see some stronger mobs or more of an op world but after how 1.0 looked and big and boring the world was ill take what we have for now as i know things will change at some point as this game will only get bigger and one more thing if ppl wanna know how ARR looks with a big op zone go to Sagolii Desert that has to be the most boring spot in this game it's big and has nothing worth doing beside the level 47 quest Zombies Are People Too

    personly i dont think 1.0 was boring and i liked the fact that it was more open world based dident have to join a dungeon to get great exp. and fates im just so burnt out on fates i hate them and wish to soak them in gasoline and light them on fire. but keep them cause they are liked by many but dont use them for every event. i liked that i could see a shout and join a party go to said location and start killing and get good exp and lvl that way. now if you try to shout for a party where your just grinding on mobs your gona get laughed at. i have read forums about people arent learning how to do there job because of fates and they need to do more dungeons..........................................

    ................................................dungeons are predictable what beter way to learn how to do your job then grinding on hard mobs for extended periods of times with a party wether it be set up how people think it should or your own custom way in 11(yes i know i refer to 11 alot but i played it forever)me and my cusin and our group of friends it might have been a small group but we could low man what it took an alince to do or duo what it took a party to do we may not succeed right at first but after a few atemps we had it down that aspect is lost in 14 i miss that aspect where you could go and low man something to get your drop because people where all linkshell based and if you dident start the linkshell you where at the botom of the list

    grinding mobs at 50% exp forever on a massive empty lifeless overworld

    If i wanted to do that, i'd go play some F2P KMMO.

    The problem is that whatever is the quickest way to level is what people will gravitate to, and whatever they add or change to favor that is what everyone will do, forsaking other avenues. If they buffed chocobo exp and suddenly getting a chocobo party together and roaming the countryside fighting mobs in the open suddenly became the fastest way to level, that's what everyone would do, ignoring FATEs (unless it happened in their immediate vicinity) and dungeons. If it's discovered that you can clear a certain dungeon in mere minutes by putting together a group of 4 BLMs and speed nuking one specific dungeon, that's what you'll be expected to do, so I hope you enjoy BLM.

    Point is, people will always gravitate towards what is easiest and most expedient. The game isn't lacking for options. You can run dungeons to get exp. You can do FATEs to get exp. You can put a chocobo party together to run around killing mobs for exp. You could even put a traditional PT together and go out into the wild and kill things. But people will, generally, only do what is fastest. If they do introduce something, if it's not the fastest means of gaining exp, people won't do it. And if it is, they'll stop doing dungeons and FATEs.

    I think the real joy of it is that there really is no definitive "BEST" way for leveling. You can rush fates, you can blaze through battlecrafts by Levelinking with parties, you could run dungeons.


    There's nothing worse in a game then having the most optimal path be the most monotonous and boring one. At least XIV gives you more than one poison to pick from.

    yea the eletist croud will alwase lean tward the fastist rout spead runing dungeons (allready hapans) focused toward one type of lvling but there are many people that like to grind the old way and meat new people i havent really meat anyone doing fates and the people i meat doing dungeons arent alwase able to play with in fates cause they could be on a difrent server. and no there will not be any abandoning of the fates cause as far as i know right now there are no other ways to get FC seals witch is what you use to buy from the Grand company

    or to get your chocabo and dungeons will not be abandond cause you get unique armour or rare if that is what you wana call it you cant get that armour from killing mobs outside. and like edellis sead there is not one definitive best way for leveling people will go there own rout do what they prefer what suits them best or what they find funner. personly i would also like the developers to implament NM not fate orinted more time spawnd ones like in 11 i miss camping thos and geting good gear from thos.

    i just dont like how geting gear is focused to dungeons or tomes or crafting and what if i dont want to throw a chocobo party together. and also the game dose not just consist of eletist players that take one path there are thousands apon thosands of players so there has to be multiple paths that can be taken if there was only one posable path it might as well not be an mmo and should have been released as a regular single player RPG and i dident start this thread thinking anything would be done i started it hopeing a developer might see it
