    Honestly it's not a horrible move at a certain level. You're significantly stronger in the over world than in dungeons (lv30 range) you'd need; 8/8 Party 3 Tank 3 DPS 2 Heals, an area with a high population of mobs, and a rested bonus. 300+XP per mob higher with a good chain - a Tank can handle 3-6 mobs at a time, DPS helps Tank with kills, Healers coverTank + DPS pairs & lay Aero on everything in reach.

    3x (300+) EXP x3 = 2700 EXP per pull - and you could even cheat the system with a little willing help from a lv50 BLM or WHM -> Pull then let outside AoE (Holy/Flare/Fire2) burn your mobs more quickly.

    People are just too lazy to group up and try it. :P

    We need areas with mobs that are as strong as dungeon mobs, and that give the same experience, that way people don' t have to queue for dungeons and can party up with peeps and just grind endlessly if they feel like it!

    In the end, it's all a grind either way you look at it. I prefer running varying dungeons then staring at the 1000th blue crab though.

    Yeaahhh, but it is not the same if you do it with strangers than with fc mates, you really need to build some "comradership" otherwise you will be running solo most of the time when you need things like relic quests or farm groups for coil or extremes.

    im not saying remove fates or dungeons. im saying bring back the old lvling ways some people like grinding fates or dungeons. i just miss making a party at lvl 10 and staying together for 10hrs+ i have had many experience like that in ffxi would be nice to bring that to 14. in a party you can have 8 people in a low lvl dungeon you get 4 what do you do if you have more then 4 friends that you want to play with. what if say me and 5 other of my RL friends bought the game to play it together. Story line quests force you to play dungeons. or whats to say i bought the game cause i like the game and i wana play solo the low exp from mobs makes that take way to long. if im solo and its trying to force me to play with 3 other people that i dont know some times i just wana play solo witch i could do in 11 but not so much in 14. personally i always took my BLU out to get spells when i wanted to solo on 11. but that last part is a totally different subject.

    there are multiple things that i think SE could do to help but its all gona take time. altho with the fates i do think if they made it where partying was a good way for lvling they should take the number of fates that spawn in one zone are eather less or spread out a lill bit more cause one thing i would be woried about is if you are partying then a fate spawnd on you with the way fates are (granted i hadent played in a lill bit plan on playing soon just gota talk myself into it cause i miss how 1.0 and 11 where) i lag so bad that im eather dead befor i see one mob or cant hit one mob cause i cant see them to hit them and people complain if you spam aoe's ive been siting here thinking of ways cause i know you cant just put the idea out there and it even have a chance of hapaning you gota figure out or sugest a viable way for it to be done.......................................................

    ...................................if you have any ideas post them here. and i know not all will agrea with me on this subject im not saying remove the way it is now im just saying at a lill bit of the old school back to it i know for a fact that SE has lost players that liked it how it was in 1.0 my aunt being one of them and if i cant get back into it i might be also. i know a couple people wont break them but i was loyal to 11 till abyssea and i came back after a while till seakers of adoline or how ever its spelled so far i still fell like they have broke ffxiv. i love the fact that they have implemnted the houseing aspect of it i like that just fell its a lill early. sorry for my rants just giveing sugestions for a game i once loved and hopefully will love again

    It be nice to see some stronger mobs or more of an op world but after how 1.0 looked and big and boring the world was ill take what we have for now as i know things will change at some point as this game will only get bigger and one more thing if ppl wanna know how ARR looks with a big op zone go to Sagolii Desert that has to be the most boring spot in this game it's big and has nothing worth doing beside the level 47 quest Zombies Are People Too

    personly i dont think 1.0 was boring and i liked the fact that it was more open world based dident have to join a dungeon to get great exp. and fates im just so burnt out on fates i hate them and wish to soak them in gasoline and light them on fire. but keep them cause they are liked by many but dont use them for every event. i liked that i could see a shout and join a party go to said location and start killing and get good exp and lvl that way. now if you try to shout for a party where your just grinding on mobs your gona get laughed at. i have read forums about people arent learning how to do there job because of fates and they need to do more dungeons..........................................

    Honestly what is the difference from running dungeons for xp and camping having a puller bring mobs to you? I found it very boring sitting in the same spot for hours, hence the reason I play Final Fantasy 14.
