The /random and /dice commands.

/random [value] Shortcut:/dice

Roll a random number between 0 and the desginated value (up to 1,000). Results will be displayed in a /say radius.
Rolls will be between 0 and 100 when no value is designated.


Anyone noticed this feature is now missing? Anyone here for getting it re added to the game? Helps with dice rolls for Roleplay, friendly rolls on wagers for gear, and even contest.

If all you are going to do is go around and post bomb people with "use the search function" please search for a different forum. It's honestly getting massively annoying. I'm sure if he bumped a thread from five months ago you would bitch about that as well.

I agree. And besides, it's NEVER the better option to remove a feature. That's taking a backwards step. Always look for an alternative.

Sorta self bump. But my friends and myself are all putting in suggestions using the in game feature to do so. If anyone else wants to do this, maybe we can get Squeenix to add it back.

I really hope they do notice though, there are hundreds of friends just i know that would love to have this feature back.

I assume they got rid of it in favor of the current Need/Greed/Pass system we have now. But yeah, it would be pretty neat to have again for other non-gear-related stuff.

I'd support this idea as long as it's only usable/visible in party chat. That way you keep the spam out of the public channels.

So people complain about not using the search feature, unless its a topic such as "lag sucks," "game is bad," or "I hate casuals/elitists/everyone"?

On topic, I think this could be fun but like errors said, could cause a bunch of spam.
