Dark Knight... Please

First it was the hyur in the cutscene with the big sword, then it was the evil armor, now it's the article stating dragon knight. The only reason I've played this game so much is the thought or a armored greatsword class. If their is a Paladin their has to be a Dark Knight. Please SE, give me a sign if it is in the works.

I think the first pet class will be Summoner. I just hope DRK isn't a scythe class.

Doesn't look like new weapons are coming from what I can see. All signs point to this job system being a addon of current classes. So your Dark Knight will most likely be wielding a Great Axe. You Warrior will also be wielding a Great Axe? Yea it gets confusing. I'm sure in next month we will know more.

But yea there's tons of jobs still on the way. I mean in Limsa Lominsa they talk about that other mage class all the time (their sign is the globe or something). I'm pretty sure they'll be a summoner equivalent or something. Then there's the musketeers too (will be interesting to see how gunners differ from archers, compared to a Ranger who could use both weapons).

Right now there's a lot of mixing and matching you can do to make jobs. Maybe if they gave Marauders great-swords you could use that with Thaumaturge to make a Dark Knight. Marauders are pretty violent and with drain spells and sacrifice it would feel like a classic Dark Knight.

they dropped (as in named dropped) "job specific weapons" a few months ago. This is mind blowing when you think drk could have anything, they could give it a scythe, a great sword, and an axe or something.
