Kicked cause of item....

Well here i was on my demand for CT items (last week over then 20 times)

When i was on Behemoth and after it i said:

"Damm o hope Acheron drops my pants its last thing i need."

The other tank said "oh you need it too? ok"

After 20sec i was kicked. Him and more 4 all match was talking in french and after i said that he begins saying things in french that i dont understand. There goes 40+ min for nothing.

I guess entering with a party in CT to farm ur items its better now?

Should have called a GM straight after, it is against ToS to initiate a vote kick without a good reason for doing so and they can check the chat logs.

I don't understand people who leave parties (or in this case kick others) because someone else wants to roll on the item they want. First, that item needs to drop to begin with. Secondly, are you really going to limit your options to only ONE item out of all the potential drops? That's just begging for frustration. At this point I want things for my SMN/BLM, WHM/SCH, and would even take stuff for BRD if no one else needed it.

This week I only needed to do one run before I got an item I was quite happy with (healer shoes).

I've seen people start stupid arguments out of nothing many times. Once a tank asked me if we were going to play "the aggro game" on Acheron. You know, I never inspected them and didn't give a shit. I said "sure, but im gonna win" because hey I'm an iLv 90 Warrior; I don't have aggro problems. I usually do win the aggro fight with ease.

Guy says "yeah good luck with that myth gear." and it's like "What the hell does not getting shit from coil have to do with anything?". I didn't say that because I didn't care and honestly it's not a situation that needed to escalate further.

CT is trouble because of people's attitudes yes, but also because of those fishing for in-progress groups and/or dropping out once they get their item.

I don't think we should cope with the problem by adding to the problems, it will only make CT worse.
