Undergarments...useful or unnecessary?

I was wondering what everyones thoughts are on keeping undergarments int he game. Do you care if they are even there? Do you keep up with them like gear?

Personally i never even look at them, or see much of new ones.TBH id rather it not be there, just more crap to carry and more space on the gear screen. But who knows what everyone else wants.

I don't care either way. If they remains I would hope for more variety but who really runs around in their undies anyways. Also For the inventory issue, I wish the gears that you equip was removed from your inventory since you basically remove it from your bag to wear it. Would alleviate the hoarding issue.

Essential. Why? The models actually require them based on the type of paperdolling this game employs as without it everyone is naked as the day they were born.

Maybe one day they'll have better stats and whatnot, but for now they mainly serve to keep us not naked with no gear on lol.

I'm all for the extra stats that undergarments provide... Be happy, SE could have made them (to cover us up) but give you 0 DEF, etc.

id be happy with the ffxi undies, they were just there. not sure why it was necessary to make it into an actual piece of gear (can you even take it off anyways?) Did people think they were going to allow are characters to be naked at all?

Keep them , as it is some NPCs wear them as a part of their attire and it fits well. Gaining stats from them is a plus.

XI didn't use this type of system, the underwear was made onto the model.

keep them in, but add varieties. Its a cool concept. i dunno bout stats on them, but whatevs

and yeah the models are truely naked, the clothes go on top, i believe it adds something that it works that way.
