Scholar Summoning Skill Issue Patch 2.16

Scholar summoning skills no longer affected by spell speed.
Specifically Embrace and Whispering Dawn.

I don't see it written anywhere in the patch notes.

I'm just wondering if this is a bug or is it intended to be like this??
personally I hope this is a bug because it was rather useful to have it reduced by a bit

Resolved issues:
An issue wherein the stats displayed in pet action help text were affected by player parameters.

There was no point to reducing cooldown of WD because you can't reduce the cooldown of Rouse.

The previous behavior was a bug. Whispering Dawn, Silent Dusk, and Fey Illumination/Covenant/Fey/Glow are all abilities, not spells. Abilities are not supposed to be affected by spell or skillspeed, only spells and weaponskills are. Generally if it has a recast timer of longer than 2.5 seconds it's probably an ability, but it's also listed on the tooltip.

From the patch notes it sounds like that was actually just a tooltip display bug.

IT wasn't just a tooltip display bug. My whispering dawn actually has faster cooldown than my rouse in the past.


Embrace and Whispering Dawn are spells, while the rest are ability though.
