Main Tanking Gaurda Extreme post Patch 2.16

I have cleared Garuda extreme probably 15 or so times as an Off Tank, and maybe 30+ times as a main tank. (cleared it said times.)

I have formed a few parties since patch 2.16 and for some reason i am now all of a sudden dying to wicked wheel.

Suparna is not doing slipstream until ~just~ before wicked wheel and i cannot seem to position nor buff in time because of it.

Is anyone else having this issue? Is this a bug? Or am i just having terrible RNG luck?

I think its a dps thing depending on how fast Chirada is going down, of course i could be wrong

Initially i thought this but the issue is her doing slipstream just before wickedwheel. I brought 5 dps in and they failed to kill plumes once, and the other party seemed to have low dps but that is some serious weirdness if it truly is a dps issue.

Yah DPS check only determines if she uses it before or after her jump...

Yeah, the other posters are correct; you've just been having bad luck with your DPS.

Everything everyone mentioned above and...
You should be using Rampart before she jumps anyway, you'll still have it on you as she comes back down.
For the other times, when Rampart is on cooldown, try using Bulwark as a placeholder if you don't feel sure on the timing for WW and use Sentinel the moment Bulwark goes down. If she still doesn't use it and follows with a jump, expect her with Hallowed Ground on as she'll use it immediately more than likely, as she lands back. (You can also try Stoneskinning yourself upon jump, if your healers aren't doing that, too).
For WAR is a little more tricky but about the same if you time IB well.

Normally though, this is indeed determined by DPS and it can really screw your timer if the DPS is too low.

Thanks for all your guys input. I've never had an issue with my timing before these two parties. I have done this with a solo healer on numerous occasion also.

What i do is i completely dodge windburn (feathers) and i use bulwark/bloodbath/awareness in a roatation but just before whickedwheel I pop either (stacking them) rampart/foresight or Sentinel (both equate to 40% mitigation totaling 60% with shield oath up)

i was having to just use hallowed ground (which i normally use also in this fight to help healers) but not at the time i normally used it. It was just a mess

(I also attempt to just completely dodge all of the attacks entirely but with the odd timing it made it more difficult to dodge and/or buff so i was just a mess i know but i was just not sure why they were doing things at different times.)
