    2. Your way of getting aggro is very inefficient. Use Heavy Swing on Titan when he drops -> Maim -> Heavy Swing -> Skull Sunder West add -> Butcher's Block East add -> Steel Cyclone -> Overpower -> hate sealed.

What? Why would you Steel Cyclone on one add. That's an enormous waste of 5 Wrath stacks and builds less aggro than a combo'ed Butcher's Block.

Depends. It's foolish to waste those stacks on a puny steel cyclone, but if your caster is set up to meteor adds, then yes, steel cyclone is pro, because the add phase comes with stomps, and healer aoe will pull those adds from you.

Tomahawk Steel cyclone then quickly over power, is enough to keep the hate off healers with the stomp spam, and then meteor drops follow by a massive aoe burn. Very neat and clean and little to worry about those potato landslides.

There actually is no reason to Steel Cyclone one add, ever. Bokchoy is right. Even if you have no combo'd SS or BB ready for left add, a simple Heavy Swing + Brutal Swing will easily get the left add to the right add for a SS, where you can BB the first one, or simply Overpower spam a few times if you are nervous about healer. I'd argue in this situation that IB is better used anyways, as healers nor DPS are going to pull hate off you with a few Overpowers anyways. Healers are more stressed in this situation, and putting up some extra mitigation for them would be more appreciated then more unneeded threat.

Not sure why you are bringing up caster LB, it has no threat associated with it. My favorite pickup methods that literally never fail is either combo's SS + Brutal Swing left add, then combo'd BB right add, followed by an overpower or two. Casters always start LB as soon as I get to the right, and it never fails. Another I do is Combo'd BB left add, then Brutal swing + spin around overpower second (hits 1st as well). Either one always works. No Steel Cyclone needed, and more mitigation for your healers so they can focus on MT. Most the time its needed. By far the most I see MT go down is during adds, because of the split heals and movement from landslide + bombs.

Because there around 1-3 seconds before your threat takes effect for the potatos come back to you. Any war worth his salt will know this problem, can be solved with a steel cyclone, because of it's non target component can pull hate right from the spawn point, which redirects threat completely to the warrior without that "rubber band hate effect".

rubber band effect = Overpower miss! get it?

This is the trick behind CT giant pulling as well. If you steel cyclone at the spawn point, they will not spend that couple of seconds wacking randomly line of sight targets. (Also useful for Turn4 to prevent rubber band phase 5)

It is not an issue if there is no caster LB scheduled for adds. but if there is, the blms usually pre casts very early, because they need the maximum time allowed to do an aoe burn rotation before the landslide-cross bomb pattern starts.

There's a reason for everything, don't mock the usefulness of a steel cyclone.

Simply don't tank to close to the edge, leave yourself enough room to avoid 5 ways landslide and enough room for other to stay alive from upveal.

Guys, thanks for all the help.

I finally ended up clearing it on Monday night in the end as Off Tank on my Warrior anyway, so all is well! Think I'll stick to Off Tanking this one as our other Tank in my usual Team only has Paladin to 50.

One thing to add, I found my way of grabbing the adds to be pretty effective, and as its a pretty universally known one, I didn't lose hate once during our attempts.

I got a Combo'd Butchers Block ready while Titan was doing his Ultimate Attack following the Heart Phase, waited to the west, got Butchers Block off on that add, turned and Tomahawk'd the other add before running over and Overpowering. As I'm on PS3, I found it difficult to concentrate on rotating the adds and avoiding stuff, so I kept one of them targetted and just used Overpower, while popping Vengeance and then Infuriate > Inner Beast to eat one of the Bombs.

You can avoid both bombs by positioning yourself and just be quick about moving as soon as you see the first bomb blows up. Remember to move along the edge of the arena so the adds don't aim Landslide at your teammate. That Inner Beast could've been used to eat Mountain Buster when you switch tanks. I've tanked both adds and titan as warrior and honestly, you just gotta be more careful to not get landslide off the platform since our version of Tempered Will is tied into Holmgang.

I think the problem is when you aoe potato fast. Their landslide is tied to their hp(?) which happen if you kill too fast (or too far apart for sludge). It's hard to gauge as different dps will have different amounts of damage speed (and whether you lb adds or not lvl1 or lvl2 etc)

Even tempered will or invincible, has a lag time which is extremely dangerous for those landslides, so even plds rarely choose to eat it, and prefer to dodge it (or temper and dodge). Same with holmgang...omg the lag time on activation is scary if you choose to use it.

Anyone confirms this? I have never seen add landslide happening too fast. They always come around time the second bomb blows up and right after. I've been doing this for weeks with different groups and have not seen it happen at a different time.
Edit: Looking at Shinra's 3:52 Titan kill, I'm pretty sure it's time based since the adds didn't even have time to use Landslide before they die.
