Bloodbath

Bloodbath is 11 out of 10 times better on Warrior than Paladin for obvious reasons.

I've noticed that Bloodbath does not work off of Damage over Time ticks... I'm wondering if this is because of Paladin's Circle of Scorn?? Would this cause scale tipping?

Do you think Bloodbath should be fixed to include DoT ticks?

It does not work for Fracture, a MRD action, either. The only "obvious reason" it's better on MRD is because MRD gets Bloodshower, which is all fair considering it is a native marauder ability. It is fine the way it is.

Obvious Reasons:

Longer Bloodbath (like you said)

An equally geared WAR will deal better DPS than PAL

Overpower

Steel Cyclone

Unchained/Berserk.

Probably best form of "Damage Mitigation" (notice the quotes) WAR has. Besides Vengeance.

Edit: Know what, maybe youre right. Many of these could seem Obvious to me, but not others.

It is supposed to be better for WAR; it is a MRD ability.

DRG/MNK use this as well and it is arguably better for them because it can restore over 100hp/hit on a smaller hit point pool on both of those classes.

I can confirm bloodbath work on dots tick and it will work on PLD but ofc the effect will not be as great as on WAR. The best way to have effect on PLD is when you pull multi mobs and use bloodbath -> SoC.

The HP regen is small but any regen = help

Yeah, I've always used Fracture (or any other DoT on other classes) with Bloodbath for a cheap Regen.

Tested it earlier and it didn't seem to work. I think I do remember it working before, but I never used it.

Seems like I remember Bloodbath healing from Fracture ticks back when I first started Marauder. That's been a while, though, so I could be wrong.
