Why did square enix do this to bard?

I think they should have a "buff"LB.
I don't know let's say a general damage buff of 5% during 20 who will increase by 1% every sec.Just my idea but well i know you can have aoe LB or a single target LB on them but using a healer lb just sound completely wrong to me.

But in the end any party wide damage buff is basically just a damage limit break, it will just take longer to get the damage out. I can't think of what they would do tbh, maybe a huge spell speed/skill speed buff for phases that are both dps and healing intensive.
