This might sound like a stupid thing to ask, but do you have to purchase the construction part of the house if you're able to build the walls and roof? Or do crafters have the ability to make such things just for customization after the fact? Being able to save 450k would be really nice, but sounds too good to be true xD

You need the construction permit no matter what. And yeah, it's too good to be true.
