The CT DF train left without me D:

Created thread simply to complain. Also wondering how frequent it might be.

In duty finder, CT queue, people kept either dropping to "get a new alliance" to avoid the last, or idling out of the queue. This is common, yeah. It happened about 5 times in a row.

On the last match failure, I lost my place in line somehow. After 55 minutes the train leaves without me and I'm back in deadville, stuck, waiting for the next train.

Is that some sort of bug? Did this ever happen to anyone else, leaving them pissed off?

It has happened to me a lot when solo queue. Especially as a DPS. Don't really have that problem as a talk or healer.

I've had that happen on every role. Maybe it's because somebody (like a tank) queued in a light party or something? Anyway, it's not just you.

It happens alot in this dungeon I noticed. Kinda a pain in the butt.

I've always assumed it happens because of people leaving when they want to join an in progress. If they see it's starting a new one they drop? Happens to me as a healer too anyway.

I get this frequently as a healer and it's one of the main reasons I get 30m+ queue times. Find a party, someone withdraws 5~10 times, then I'm stuck waiting for another party to form. Makes no sense if DF is supposed to be a FCFS system and makes even less sense if it isn't.

Yeah Ive had this happen before, you hit commence, someone drops out and then you click on DF to see your the 1st person in the queue again, I dont understand it

It's pretty simple really. You can solo-que for CT as a tank or a healer, but as a dps you should be joining/forming a party in PF and entering that way.

Yes, it happens a lot. I think the reason is this:

1: Assume there are currently 4 tanks, 4 healers and 12 damage dealers waiting in your duty finder group. That is, two full parties and one party missing healers and tanks. You happen to be in the party missing healers and tanks.
2: A full party (who PFed or something and partied up before queueing up) enters the queue.
3: The new party and the two parties already filled up get the prompt to enter.
4: If they do enter, your duty finder group is back to 0 tanks, 0 healers and 4 damage dealers.

This is extremely frustrating and happens all the damn time, it's not people just withdrawing, because it's always one or two full parties disappearing at a time, not just one member. The other day I queued for three hours (as Scholar, so don't say queueing as healer solves the problem), seeing the alliance missing just one tank and dropping from 5/6/12 down to 0/2/0 once every 20 minutes or so, then slowly building back up, just to drop right back down again... and again... and again.

Lots of things can happen.

Lets say a tank droped at the 1st invite.
Then in the DF queue you have a tank that is grouped with a dps that gets the spot.

That mean a solo dps that got 1st invite will be left out

That can happen to any class, lots of heals work with tanks that means solo heals can suddenly not get any spot
