How does quest-based progression work in a game where players level multiple classes?

To accommodate the wealth of SP needed, will this mean that all the quests will be mass-produced drivel? Quantity over quality, as it were?

Will the quests have voice-overs or will they be forgettable fetch-quests? I ask only because logic dictates that these quests may in fact be just as monotonous as guildleves. So, of this I ask you, is it really the better option?

I hate guildleves as much as the next person, but perhaps story-driven methods of advancement are even worse if the story is terrible. Nobody likes to read a bad novel. Likewise, nobody likes to do laps around quest hubs filled with inane, skippable dialogue.

I don't mean to complain, but if there is absolutely no motivation for doing these quests outside of levelling up, then they will probably be thought of in the same way as guildleves presently are (boring).

To make the game less grindy, you don't just throw in a quest-grind.

I just hope that one day we get features like the player-run companies, and more zones to explore, things that we actually WANT to do, instead of things we HAVE to do.
