That is fine with me, I think they want to go leves for solo play exp and dungeons for party play exp. Both would be considered casual tho since the dungeon is limited to 60min. Just getting the group together might discourage some casual players and just stick with leves.
They be a limit on the dungeon so let's say you can only do 3 per day at 60min each that 180min If the mobs don't give that much good SP it pointless to do if you got all the Gear you need from it. The best thing to do would still be leves or solo or if they fix the dam issue with mobs giving bad sp me killing a 10-20 level over and getting 100+sp is not a smart thing to do.

Screw that. If I wanted to solo the whole game I would have stayed on my RDM with FFXI. They tryin to make this game like WoW and its stupid. Playing with ppl in parties is the fun stuff. Gettin to know new ppl etc... SE is screwin this one up big time.
I think you will be able to do that if that is your wish. I think offering several options to the players is superior than giving just the party grind option viable. I like partying but sometimes people do not have time to 1 find a group and 2 stay for an extended period of time to do that. That is why they will make some options viable for a quick exp session if you only have 1hr to play.
When you have more time to play, maybe you'll favor party grind since it will yield more exp since it is not limited to X amount per day as opposed to dungeons that are daily and leves that are 36 hour timer (at the moment anyways).
No need to panic.
I think you can still leve link party.
Even though they are reducing the amount you get for leve-linking, it still is only a reduction, there is still some bonus sp there, plus the addition of the SP for completion.
The bonus for SP completion will depend on how hard the leve is plus the time you took to complete, so prolly having a light party for links would help boost the SP bonus, making leve linking viable still?
I'm just speculating though, can't wait to actually see how this will play out though.

Good luck guys trying to do raptor parties! XD
They did say they are going to bring in xp chains, so as long as party sp > solo sp I think parties will be fine. I agree, the more options you give the better.
Only have an hour to play, run a leve or two.
Have a few hours, form a party and link, or go farm on some mobs, perhaps even run a dungeon.
While they will need to adjust/balance the systems to keep everything working and not giving any one system the advantage, I feel that by continually introducing new content players will find that they have lots of options.
Looking forward to September 30th for the one year anniversary and to see how far we have come.![]()

problem is if they make the game causal and only solo no one would want to party they just going to solo and never join with other partys so if you log in and have no friends or gf you be by yourself soloing also and no one would join you.

Opinion:
This is not logical to me. If you think about it, just making ^this statement invalidates it. When people say things like this it is because party play is important to them. They like to party. They don't want to see party play take a back seat or somehow get messed up.
Simple fact: People will party simply because they want and like to party.
I will say what I always say to this kind of statement. If nobody parties when partying is not enforced, what does that really say about party play and people?
Either the scenario you have described is incorrect or nobody really likes parties and secretly only want to solo. If the latter, a game should be built to maximize enjoyment of the players, not force them to do something they dislike. However, I think the former is the real answer.
