Casuals and Soloers will be super pumped, but what happens to those levelinkers? I'm not questing to hit max rank, and if I have to solo to max rank, I might as well just quit. I wanted to play a MMO, and not just an rpg.

You can still leve link it just wont be as beneficial as before on some leves and possibly more beneficial on others. You can also party up and grind mobs, do behests, do dungeons or do Frontier Hubs for XP.

Because they're used to FFXI, which had zero options. >.<

I am weary that if you do limit acquiring guild marks to their respective cities you will not have job classes partying in certain area's. i.e. all the thm will stay in uldah, all the conjurer's in gridana, and so on with every single job

Not entirely true. Regional leves dont always reward you with guild marks anyways. This is probably one of the ways they're going to try and get people to do things in the other regions seeing as most of the time they're dead.

Was the translations by several people not good enough for you?

And in response to your next post, you act like thats the most absurd system ever. I think you fail to see these are the base systems being implemented, as concern has been expressed that they will be built upon later. Sheesh. I'm not defending the fact that things are coming in slowly, but think about it. They have suffered some pretty big setbacks. It also looks like 1.18 and 1.19 are going to be pretty massive changes. In other words...Try to look at the big picture before you get frustrated at the fact that things take time, especially when they might as well be working from the ground up.

New producer, new development team trying to work on an engine that apparently is hard to work with and I would then assume to get used to, expressed opinions that people want the game to be totally different, Japan getting wrecked a few months ago, and then rebuilding the foundations of this game.

Yeah, I shall never know whats taking them so long either.

Your advice seems to suggest that this game will never be good even in ten years time and we might as well give up on it.
