Thread: So when is 1.18 coming out?

Why not give us a specific time or atleast a MORE specific time like for instance.
"1.18 will come out on july 7th" or if thats to tough for little ole SE how about "1.18 will come out sometimes between July 7th and July 14th" Its just that easy. Other companies dont have this issue. Why does SE?

So other companies that actually give dates, I guess those companies patches are not subject to changes. Have you ever had to give a time line at your job? Did you do it or did you say " I cant do it because things could change!!"

The fact they're still "under development" gives a bit of lee way but I do think that they should be a bit more concise about their scheduling. They SHOULD know the working capacity / the time it takes to develop part A and part B and blabla of patches and should, based on that, be able to be a bit more specific than "sometime in june.. but maybe not"
