    Quest Tracking/Untracking not working

    Time: 10:00 PM PST
    Frequency: Always
    World name: Gilgamesh
    Character name: Syaoran Li
    NPC name: None
    Monster name: None
    Class/Level: Black Mage/50
    Party or solo: Party
    In-game time: 8:00 PM
    Area and coordinates: Central Shroud, X: 15, Y: 15
    Steps:
    1. Open Quest Journal
    2. Check a box on a quest
    3. Uncheck a box on a quest
    4. Duty list UI element still displays the quests that have been unchecked.

I do not understand why a quest tracking system would not allow me to hide quests that I do not currently want displayed. Certain quests I would like to see at times, and others I do not want to see. If I have 5 or less quests, this currently forces me to have to see all of them regardless of whether or not I want to see them in my Duty List. If this is not a bug and working as intended, then move this to suggestions I guess.

Great suggestion! I'm not sure why they re-implemented a "quest tracker" without the ability to hide quests you don't want to track.

If this is confusing for the developers, allow me to explain what we are asking for. First, when you select the check-box next to the quest, the expected result is it will display the quest in the Duty List. When the user deselects the box, the expected result is it will hide the quest from the Duty List. If all boxes are deselected, no quests should display. Quests that supersede this include: Dungeon, Primal, FATE Duties that are time-sensitive, or duty-specific and should always display.

Quests take up a lot of screen space, and if you accidentally click on one, it brings up the map, which can be extremely bad in the middle of a battle! This mostly a quality of life suggestion, and I have seen it posted before in This Topic started by FluffyM, which I have quoted below.

I know you can disable the quest log entirely, but this is bad for times when you need to see the duty you are on (like a dungeon, for example, since you need things like the timer). Therefore, it would be simpler to just be able to always see the temporary dungeon or FATE duties, and be able to control which of the secondary quests we want to display.

Please let us re-size the quest window, and decide how many we want to track. I hate doing dailies and not realizing where the objective for the 6th quest is on the map because it only tracks five.
